Hudson is a wonderful boy! It seems like he's been here forever. We had Kathy's parents, their dog, her brother and his family here over Christmas. Hudson was the centre of attention. He was so calm and content with everyone here. Everyone was VERY impressed with him and were smitten. My parents were amazed with how settled and well adjusted he was with his new home and family.

He is so smart. He goes out willingly for his "whiz & dumps" and has even asked to go out by pawing at the back door. Also, 9 out of 10 times he comes when called.

He and our standard schnauzer get along quite well, although Abby has let him know who it the top dog. They are cute together and as you said, Hudson follows her around!

We went to the vet on Friday for his 12 week shots. They were also quite impressed with our boy. Apparently, just before we arrived a 69# doodle had been in! Hudson weighed 25#. He was very well behaved and didn't even flinch while having his shot. They also vaccinated him for bordatella, since I plan on taking him to obedience once he's had his 16 week shots.

Hudson is a perfect boy, just like you said!! You've done an amazing job and it shows on how confident and happy he is! Not even the vacuum phases him! He was a little shaky going in the car to the vets on Friday. My mom held him on the way there and back. David and I took him and Abby for 2 rides on the weekend and he was better.

Thanks Marsha for choosing us to love him & have him as a part of our family. He's amazing & we all adore him! Sorry I haven't been in touch since last Monday but it was a busy week with Christmas and company. We just want you to know things are going great!

Training Tips

Lesson 101: Only allow your puppy to have habits now that you will be happy for him to have as an adult. Training starts from day 1 and continues for their entire lives.

Order of importance as per our Vet: Exercise, Discipline and then Love in that order. Your love is shown when you are exercising your dog.
