Home Breeder - Family Breeder! Ludwig's Doodles
We at Ludwig's Doodles are committed to providing healthy, confident, well socialized, trusting, intelligent puppies that have little to non-shedding coats. They are raised in our home with the entire family involved, human and dogs. Our breeding homes sometimes raise our puppies for a short time. They follow Ludwig's Doodles breeding program guidelines.
We take pride that our puppies are suitable for families with young children or elderly members and with other pets, if trained properly. The temperament of a Ludwig's Doodle is one to be proud of. The look of the puppy depends on the breeding pair and the individual puppy itself. Since they are a mixed breed, size depends on the individual puppy as well. Regardless of the look they are all beautiful. Some may be thick build others more refined. The refined ones will be the prettiest poodle you have ever seen with a loving part Golden Retriever attitude. It doesn't matter which look the temperaments are loving, loyal, eager to please, happy and entertaining.
We
are proud to announce that an accomplishment in 2008 three F3B
puppies of Ludwig's Mona's went to Service Organizations and one of
Ludwig's Dennies puppies. The National Service Dogs have
chosen two pups, one of each F2B and F3B for their Autism program.
Assistance
Dogs of America Inc.
is taking two F3B puppies for their prison program . They go
into training for a school program after 1 year. I am very
proud of the group! We have F2B puppies available with the
same father as the puppies that are in the programs.

Breeding Direction
Our goal is to develop a Multi-Generation Goldendoodle that has a consistent look, a medium to blocky build, strong head, non-shedding, allergy friendly coat with a relaxed curl. The size would be between 55-75 pounds for a Standard and the temperament should be accepting of anything. Ludwig's Doodles currently breed F2B Goldendoodles and F3B Goldendoodles, Standard size puppies. Minis and F1`B's starting Spring 2009. I personally strive for a consistent looking litter regardless of the generation. Sisters produce different looking puppies with the same father.
Integrity means to us that we try our best to provide a healthy, well adjusted family member. The parents and puppies live in loving, happy, healthy and clean environment (messy but not dirty). The adults and puppies are stimulated daily. Our children have 2 legs and 4 legs. Our four sons have an important role in our breeding program.
Puppies need to have socialization incorporated in their first eight weeks. Did you know 65% of a dogs temperament is directly related to it's experiences during that time? Conditioning the cells to deal with stress.
Ludwig's Doodles has a full disclosure policy, so our health testing results are scanned on the site. We always show where the dogs and puppies live, whether it is our house or a breeding home. Pretty, staged photos are nice but where do they live? Who is socializing them? We update photos of the puppies weekly and sometimes more.
Marsha Ludwig of Ludwig's Doodles responds to e-mails, phone calls, etc. usually within a couple hours. The fast response support doesn't end when you pick up your puppy. We want to know how the puppy is settling in and how he is aging.
Goals
HomeBreeder.com (Ludwig's Doodles) is looking to one day have training courses, from beginner to advanced, grooming courses, how to care for your dog, etc. available at our farm location. This may still be a few years away but the goal is to have our puppies advance trained. I would really love it if our dogs can be working with people of all ages that need a connection. Everyone needs unconditional love, all should have the opportunity to love a dog.
Our dogs can handle a job, let them work. When a puppy is booked in advance - there will be a class two weeks prior to pickup that would cover what to expect, how to prepare your house and to make your expectations in line with the reality of bringing a puppy home. You can find all this information on the internet and a great place is www.goldendoodles.com
The goal is to have a trainer, a groomer, a photographer, etc. all lined up that the local puppies and families can come spend a day and learn how to really be the best friend of your dog. 2009 will bring a cage free boarding facility set up that will specialize in advanced training or stress management.
